Dr. Vincent Jones II

Dr. Vincent Jones II is an Assistant Professor of Community Health and Director of the Health Promotion Center at York College, The City University of New York. His groundbreaking research examines the intersection of technology and intimacy, with a focus on how dating apps and social media impact the health and safety of women and LGBTQ+ communities.

Through grant-funded studies and community-engaged scholarship, Dr. Jones investigates technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TF-GBV), user perceptions of app policies, and strategies for responding to cyber victimization. His work combines rigorous academic research with accessible public writing, making him a sought-after voice on contemporary dating culture, digital safety, and LGBTQ+ issues.
